Coverage stated before you need it

Agreements state which hours are covered, which severities carry which response targets, what is included, and what is chargeable. Critical incidents target a first response within one business hour with updates every two business hours. The first weeks of any onboarding are spent clearing the backlog of patching, backup failures, and known issues.

Recovery time and recovery point objectives are agreed with business owners per system, then the architecture is designed to meet them — including immutable copies that cannot be altered within their retention window even with compromised administrative credentials. Critical systems are restore-tested at least quarterly, with written results.

What a licence review typically surfaces

Mapping users into role groups — frontline, knowledge worker, executive, contractor, service account — routinely finds assigned-but-inactive seats, duplicate entitlements arriving through two plans, and premium features that were bought and never enabled. The written output is a plan mapping, a cost comparison, and a renewal calendar with named owners.
